Who we are
Honest Plumber of Oakville is a plumbing contractor serving Oakville and the surrounding towns. You can reach us at 647-792-0468 or gtaplumberdispatch@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the booking form on this site:
- Your name
- Your neighbourhood or town
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Whether the job is residential or commercial, what you need help with, and how urgent it is
- Anything you write in the description box
We do not ask for payment details on this website. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
How your form goes to us
The booking form is delivered by Web3Forms, a third party service that passes the message to our inbox. Your details pass through their systems in order to reach us. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policy.
What we do with it
We use your information to reply to you, book a visit, give you a price, carry out work you approve, and follow up about that work. That is all. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it.
Who else sees it
Our own staff and, where a job requires it, a subcontractor or supplier working on your job. If the law requires us to disclose something, we will comply. Otherwise your details stay with us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for about a year in case you come back to us. Records for completed work are kept longer, because tax and warranty obligations require it.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw your consent to being contacted. Email gtaplumberdispatch@gmail.com and we will action it.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy request, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection and form submissions are sent encrypted. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything highly sensitive through a web form.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date below.
