About this site
This website describes the plumbing services offered by Honest Plumber of Oakville. It is here to help you decide whether to call us. It is not a contract.
Prices and quotes
Nothing on this website is a quote. Plumbing prices depend on what we find, and we cannot know that until someone looks. We give you a price on site after we have diagnosed the problem, and you approve it before any work starts.
If we open something up and find a genuinely different problem underneath, we stop and talk to you before adding anything to the price.
Booking requests
Filling in the form or leaving a voicemail is a request, not a confirmed appointment. A booking is confirmed when we have spoken to you and given you an arrival window.
Emergency response
We aim to reach emergencies the same day and usually within a few hours. That is a genuine aim, not a guarantee. Traffic, weather and the jobs already in progress all affect it. If your basement is flooding, call us rather than using the form, and shut your main valve if you can reach it safely.
The free second opinion
We will come out and give you our own read on another company's quote at no charge, with no obligation to hire us. It is available to homeowners, landlords and property managers inside our service area. We may decline where the property is outside that area or where the request is not a genuine second opinion.
Workmanship
Our labour is warrantied and parts carry their manufacturer's warranty. The term varies with the type of work, so we go through it with you when we quote and write it on the quote you approve.
Photographs
The job photographs on this site are our own work. They show real jobs and are not a promise that your job will look the same or cost the same.
Your responsibilities
Please give us accurate information about the problem and the property, safe access to the work area, and tell us about anything hidden we should know about, such as buried services or previous repairs.
Limits
We are responsible for our own workmanship. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults we did not cause, for damage arising from information you did not tell us, or for indirect losses such as lost income. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
